Anderson ThermoSolo® is a torch-on single layer membrane intended for use as a partially bonded single layer top sheet to refurbish ageing bituminous or asphalt roofs which have not yet been damaged by water ingress and are structurally sound.
The membranes utilise a stripe technology which plays a special role by allowing any trapped water vapour to disperse through the system eliminating blistering created by the build-up of water vapour pressure within the roof construction.
The self-finished mineral surface provides a decorative and solar reflective finish for the built-up waterproofing system.

Anderson ThermoSolo® is an advanced SBS modified composite torch applied membrane that combines the strength and flexibility of polyester fibres with additional reinforcement to give the guaranteed dimensional stability which is critical in single layer applications. The upper surface is coated with mineral granules with a mineral-free selvedge of 80 mm at the side lap. The end of the roll has a unique Icopal ‘‘safety’’ mineral-free overlap to enhance overlap adhesion.
The underside surface has specially formulated low melt bitumen vapour dispersion stripes with a Red Syntan coating between to prevent adhesion during application. The underside is finished with a thermofusible film to prevent sticking in the roll.
Thermosolo is suitable for use as an overlay system to existing flat roof coverings only.
