Elastoflex Rooflight Coating forms part of the Elastoflex Waterproofing System and is used for the waterproofing of surfaces which are required to maintain a level of natural daylight, eg in-line rooflights. The Elastoflex Rooflight Coating allows continuation of the Elastoflex Waterproofing System across these transparent areas.
Elastoflex Rooflight Coating is a single component, highly modified transparent polyurethane resin that is applied in three thin coats. Once cured the membrane is UV and weather resistant, it also demonstrates high elasticity and abrasion resistance.

1. Dependant on environmental conditions. Values attained at 23 °C and 50% rel humidity. Times given are reduced with higher (and increased with lower) surrounding and work surface temperatures.
Apply only when atmospheric and substrate temperatures are greater than 5 °C and 3 °C above the dew point. If the surface is below or at dew point temperature then moisture can form at the surface and affect coating adhesion and curing.
Ensure surfaces are clean and free from contaminants. Glass surfaces should be degreased before application. Rooflights should be pressure washed or hand washed with a citrusbased cleaner, then a thorough rinse so that the panels are ‘‘squeaky clean’’ and dry.
Once opened stir the contents carefully, without adding air bubbles. To achieve uniform coverage, roll the liquid to the prepared substrate using a roller (eg. mohair roller).
For best results, apply the coating in three thin coats, allowing each coat time to cure between applications.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) should be worn.
