Icopal Vapour Control Layers

Icopal Vapour Control Layer (VCL) membranes prevent water vapour reaching colder construction layers thereby forming condensation and possibly causing mould growth, rotting timbers and wet and ineffective mineral wool insulation. To achieve this, air tightness is essential, also helping the roof comply with Building Regulations Part L, concerning the reduction of CO2 emissions.
