Icopal’s marine grade cast aluminium Roofgard SP1 Clamping Ring Outlet has been designed specifically for use with Icopal single ply membranes. The outlet has a unique butyl strip which is recessed beneath the clamping ring to seal the membrane and prevent any possible water ingress into the building. With a high hydraulic efficiency, designers can reduce the number of outlets on a flat roof, reducing new build costs and risk.
It can equally be used in the retrofit market, as the 82 mm diameter outlet spigot can achieve a greater flow rate than the originally installed roof outlet.
In addition to its hydraulic efficiency, it can be supplied with a unique recessed insulation box that makes installation fast and trouble-free, whilst also making it compliant with Part L thermal bridging requirements.
The outlet grate and clamping ring are polyester powder coated in cyan blue, and the bowl body is mill finished. The leaf grate is available in a dome or flat grate.
The Icopal SP1 Clamping Ring Outlet assembly comprises the specified outlet with corresponding pipe, along with either the Dome or the Flat Grate.

Flow rate data has been determined by physical measurements, based on a 35mm head of water adjacent to the outlet, all in accordance with EN 12056. The flow rates should be used as a guide only. Each drainage area will have individual features that may influence overall flow characteristics.
